Attendees also got to see the Delphi’s new NOx sensors, enhanced steering parts, and other products that are set to be announced later in Q4.
Test bench manufacturer Hartridge featured two of its products at AAPEX: the Sabre CRi Expert, which is a progression of its Sabre platform; and the HK1400 Expert, a product for diesel workshops wanting to increase their electronic unit injector and electronic unit pump diagnostic capability.
Delco Remy showcased its 150MT™ Heavy Duty Starter, which features a high-performance power pack, the ability to support multiple vehicle power sources, and over crank thermal protection.
Training Academy
Delphi held a training session at AAPEX, “Plug-In-Power Charging Tips for PHEVs & EVs,” hosted by the senior technical trainer and curriculum developer at Joe’s Garage, Dave Hobbs.
The session covered the current state of transitioning CCS1 7-pin fast charge plugs to the NACS 5-pin plugs popularized by Tesla.
In addition, attendees got to see a glimpse of Delphi’s upcoming Training Academy: a North American training program offering both instructor-led and self-paced training options.
More information about the Training Academy is set to be released in the coming months.
“Delphi, Delco Remy, and Hartridge are consistently being strengthened by our knowledgeable team and through extensive research and development to deliver best-in-class aftermarket products and solutions to the North American market,” stated Russ Stebbins, vice president and general manager of North America aftermarket for PHINIA.
