NAPA Auto Parts Sponsors 13 Universal Technical Institute Classrooms
NAPA Auto Parts has sponsored 13 classrooms for training future automotive technicians at the Universal Technical Institute, according to a press release.
The sponsorship, in collaboration with Premium Guard Inc., will provide 13 NAPA Gold Filters branded classrooms for UTI. The classrooms will offer access to auto parts and technical resources commonly used by technicians in the industry today.
To celebrate the completion of the classrooms, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the NASCAR Technical Institute campus in Mooresville, North Carolina, on Oct. 8.
With a total of 15 campuses across the U.S., approximately 250,000 students have graduated from UTI. The school has received accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
“We partnered with PGI to redesign the NAPA Gold Filter to the highest quality standards, providing the performance demanded by today's modern engines,” told Danny Huffaker, senior vice president of category management at NAPA. “We're proud to help drive forward the next generation of the automotive aftermarket's future through this program.”
