Automotive Aftermarket Groups Providing Relief to Hurricane Helene Victims
Efforts are underway to assist those in the automotive aftermarket that have been impacted by Hurricane Helene by groups such as the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation and the Automotive Service & Tire Alliance.

A GoFundMe has been launched by ASTA to raise relief funds that will go directly to ASTA members in good standing and their employees that have been impacted by the hurricane.
Launching this past Friday, the fundraiser has raised nearly $80,000 of its $100,000 goal.
In addition, at the closing dinner for the recent ASTA Expo, an impromptu charity auction was held, raising over $40,000 in under an hour.
“Every time I thought we were finished, someone else would walk up to the stage and donate more equipment or training to be auctioned off,” told Mike Allen, owner of Carfix and ASTA board president.

Since 1959, AACF has been a constant resource for those in the automotive industry affected by floods, fires, catastrophic medical conditions, life-changing accidents, and other unexpected adversities.
While their website has a form for general relief, those impacted by Hurricane Helene are urged to submit AACF’s natural disaster form to streamline help.
