Automotive Shops Awarded for Branding and Social Media Presence at VISION
Shop Marketing Pros has recognized several shops in its network that were awarded for their branding and social media presence at the recent VISION Hi-Tech Training and Expo that took place in Overland Park, Kansas, Feb. 29 to March 3.
According to a press release, Enright Automotive, a family-owned shop in Alexandria, Ohio, was named Best Website of the Year at the conference. The business was chosen by an independent panel of judges based on several factors, including accessibility, content, design, and overall user experience.
First opened by Chris Enright four years ago, the shop has acquired over 180,000 followers across all its social media platforms, and has also been named Best TikTok winner at VISION.
“I was surprised to win, and it was unexpected,” told Enright. “(I was) not surprised at the same time because SMP does such a great job. I am beyond blessed to be able to work with such a great team of people. I have loved the website from the start and have gotten lots of compliments on it.”
Facebook and Instagram of the Year went to Accurate Automotive, a full-service repair shop in Northglenn, Colorado. The titles are awarded to shops with an effective social media strategy that produces high engagement with their followers.
The Green Star Service Facility Award recognizes a business that has conducted environmentally friendly practices, with Barney Brothers Off Road and Repair of Grand Junction, Colorado, owned and operated by Chad and Darrin Barney, being named this year’s winner of the title.
In addition, the Radical Generosity Award was presented by SMP co-owner Kim Walker to Jerry “G” Truglia, who owns and works with Automotive Technician Training Services. Truglia is an ASE World Class Technician and author who provides automotive training across the globe.
