Feb. 28, 2023–Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) has announced the addition of “276 new part numbers since the start of the year,” according to a press release.
A portion was EV components provided through its Standard and Four Seasons brands. This included “a universal Battery Pack Charging Cord for electric vehicles, as well as a multitude of parts for hybrid vehicles.”
Brake pedal travel sensors will now be offered to hybrid models such as the 2017-11 Lexus CT200h and 2019-2014 Toyota Highlanders. Park assist cameras have been released for the 2012-2010 Lexus HS250h. Power sunroof motors are now available for 2020-2013 models of the Nissan Pathfinder.
The company has released “a total of 88 new Sensors, Switches, Actuators, and Connectors” such as power door lock actuators, charge air coolers, and vehicle speed sensors.
The Standard brand has also added 14 new park assist cameras for vehicles including “2021-17 Ford F-250 Super Duty, 2016-15 Subaru WRX and STI,” and park assist sensors for “more than 268,000 Volvo vehicles” to its list of Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) products.
“This release covers a wide range of product categories, and includes coverage for electric, hybrid, gasoline, and diesel vehicles,” said Jack Ramsey, senior vice president of sales and marketing at SMP.
