August 9, 2019—An auto repair shop in Bowling Green, Ky. will close its doors today, reports WBKO 13.
Owner Dusty Bowlin decided to close the shop as he will retire. Dusty’s Auto Care was built back in 1960, with Bowlin putting in 42 years of work.
"It's bittersweet, I'll tell you. It's nothing but bittersweet. Like I say, I've been saying good-bye to everybody all day long, and it's hard to do, really," Bowlin said.
The auto repair shop is also a full-service gas station, and is one of the last remaining in the area.
