IGONC to Host ASTE 2019

Sept. 17, 2019

ASTE 2019 will have 36 management and technical seminars taught by nationally known presenters, in addition to a vendor trade show and a variety of networking opportunities.

September 18, 2019—As part of its efforts to help ensure independent automotive service professionals are properly educated in order to safely repair customers’ vehicles, the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina (IGONC) will host its 2019 Automotive Service and Technology Expo (ASTE) on Sept. 27-29 at the Embassy Suites and Convention Center in Cary, N.C. Open to anyone in the automotive service industry, ASTE 2019 will have 36 management and technical seminars taught by nationally known presenters, in addition to a vendor trade show and a variety of networking opportunities.

ASTE is the Southeast’s largest aftermarket automotive show, and the 2019 installation will feature Remarkable Results Radio’s Carm Capriotto for a forum on “Technician Retention.” The training agenda also includes renowned industry speakers, such as Rick White of 180BIZ, ATI’s Jim Silverman, Danny Sanchez from Autoshop Solutions, Donny Seyfer of NASTF, and Kukui Corporation’s Jimmy Lea, as well as presenters from Carquest, AST Training, WorldPac, and many other industry companies.

In addition to the vendor show which promises 180 registered vendors and nearly 80 exhibitors, including Advance/CARQUEST and Tekmetric, ASTE 2019 offers many networking opportunities for attendees. On Friday evening, attendees will enjoy the ASTE Pizza Party and ASTE Casino Night, and Saturday night will feature a banquet dinner with entertainment from Paul Miller before IGONC’s Annual Induction of Officers and Awards Ceremony.

IGONC is also excited to announce that Frank Leutz of Wrench Nation will be in attendance, featuring ASTE 2019 through live videos.

IGONC Executive Director Bob Pulverenti stated, “As ASTE continues to grow and garner national prominence, we are very excited to work with so many new vendors as well as repair shops from all over the country. It is our mission to provide an educational, fun event at a very cost-effective price.”

Those interested in attending ASTE 2019 can obtain admission on multiple levels. A one-day education pass costs $159, while a pass for both days is available for $259. Shops attending with up to six employees can purchase a pass for $695, and larger shops will pay $795.
