Mavis Acquires Action Gator Tire

    It’s just the latest acquisition for Mavis, which acquired Tuffy Tire and Auto and its 165 locations in December 2021.

    Feb. 11, 2022—Mavis Tire has acquired Action Gator Tire, a retail tire and auto repair MSO. 

    According to Action Gator’s website it operates 20 locations in Florida. It’s just the latest acquisition for Mavis, which acquired Tuffy Tire and Auto and its 165 locations in December 2021.

    A spokesman for Mavis told Modern Tire Dealer, Ratchet+Wrench’s sister publication, that Fred Christensen, Action Gator's longtime president, "is helping us transition and will help source future locations."
