May 17, 2022—Shop-Ware and Voyomotive have announced a new partnership.
According to a press release, shops will be able to use VOYO cellular telematics controllers to share vehicle data remotely to their Shop-Ware systems.
This process will include scan tool level diagnostics, service-related PIDs, and third-party predictive analytics.
“The benefits of greater connectivity have been demonstrated in many industries, but the goal of managing shops using real-time, remote vehicle data has evaded the aftermarket service sector,” said Peter Yorke, Co-founder and CEO of Voyomotive in the press release. “Our new partnership with Shop-Ware realizes the potential offered by telematics, including improved automation and supply chain management, lower operating costs and increased shop revenue.”
Voyomotive's Scan Pro feature can read manufacturer codes from all vehicle controllers. VOYO controllers are "plug and play" according to the press release, and will transfer the data into the Shop-Ware account of the user.
In practice, a repair record is automatically created in Shop-Ware, awaiting manager approval. Alerts can range from low oil levels to odometer values and the status of a check engine light.
“We are proud to partner with Voyomotive to deliver a combined solution that is another big win for shops and their ability to collaborate with their customers,” said Carolyn Coquillette, founder and CEO of Shop-Ware in the press release. “VOYO’s integration is a key stepping stone in the service of connected cars and our mission to help aftermarket professionals remain competitive long into the future.”
Shop-Ware is a shop management system with end-to-end digital customer experience and Voyomotive offers advanced telematics solutions for shops and fleets.
