ASE Releases Testing, Recertification Options

ASE now provides three ways to take certification or recertification tests.

Dec. 14, 2022—For those looking to test or recertify, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced three options to do so in a recent press release: 

1. ASE in-person testing. Offered throughout the year at more than 450 secured, proctored Prometric test centers. 

2. ASE renewal app. Those with unexpired automobile certifications (A1-A9) can extend their ASE certifications without having to take time off or go to a secure test center for testing. 

3. ProProctor remote testing. An online recertification solution for all ASE recertification tests, excluding L1 and L2 tests.
