Dec. 20, 2013—Applications are now being accepted for the 2014 Michelin/Tire Industry Association (TIA) Scholarship, TIA announced on Thursday.
"TIA is pleased to continue to partner with Michelin on the scholarship program,” said TIA executive vice president Roy Littlefield. “Since the program's inception in 2000, more than $250,000 has been awarded, so we know the program is making a positive impact.”
The scholarship program is open to part-time employees and dependent children of full-time employees of TIA member tire dealers. Applicants must be a high school senior planning to pursue a post-secondary education at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational technical school. Applicants must also have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
