Aug. 6, 2014
Aug. 6, 2014—The Automotive Service Association of the Midwest (ASA-Midwest) will start a new set of Shop Owner Support groups, or SOS groups, in September, the association announced recently.
The groups, which contain between 6–10 shops, meet on a monthly basis and are free to join. Discussions are aimed at addressing issues for members, and to set and review goals.
The groups are based in:
Kansas City
Des Moines, Iowa
Lincoln, Neb.
Springfield, St. Louis and central, Mo.
Little Rock , Ark.
Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla.
The deadline to sign up for participating in an SOS group is Aug. 15. The registration form can be found online.
SOS groups are not the only free resource the ASA-Midwest offers members. It also offers a Shop Mentor Program. The confidential, one-on-one mentoring program is aimed at helping shop owners improve their businesses.
