ASA-Midwest to Hold Training on Wage, Hour Law

Sept. 30, 2014—Cleve Marburgh of the U.S. Department of Labor will give a presentation entitled “Are YOU Prepared for a Wage and Hour Audit?” at an Automotive Service Association of the Midwest (ASA-Midwest) chapter meeting for Kansas City area automotive professionals. 

The meeting will take place at V’s Italian Restaurant in Independence, Mo., and will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Marburgh will discuss how to make sure shop owners are prepared for an audit at any time, and go over topics such as proper record keeping, tracking of employee hours, and minimum wage requirements for employees. 

The event costs $25 for ASA-Midwest members and $30 for non-members. Registration and additional information for the audit meeting can be found at the ASA-Midwest website here.
