April 3 , 2017—A study conducted by Navigant Research found that Ford Motor Company is leading the pack when it comes to autonomous vehicles, according to a report by USA Today.
Ford took the top spot on the survey by demonstrating that it has the strategic vision and execution capabilities to develop automated driving systems as well as deploy them across a range of mobility platforms, according to the report.
In second place was General Motors, followed by Renault-Nissan Alliance and Daimler. The study did not include technology companies, reports USA Today.
