March 7, 2017—Roy’s Autoworks in Howell, Mich., has been selected as the Federated Shop of the Year.
Nominated for this honor by Federated member Motown Automotive, Roy’s Autoworks is owned by ASE master technician Roy Caverly.
Caverly, a member of the Federated Car Care advisory board, has owned Roy’s Autoworks for eight years. Among the company’s 14 employees are five ASE master technicians. Of the three full-time service advisors, two also hold ASE certifications.
In addition, Roy’s also has two L1 advanced engine performance specialists. Roy’s Autoworks has earned the respected ASE Blue Seal of Excellence and has been recognized as the best complete auto repair facility in Livingston County for each of the past three years. Active in the community, the shop supports many local charities and sponsors several youth sports teams and events in the area.
“I want to thank Federated for choosing us as its shop of the year,” said Caverly. “This is a great honor that I share with our entire staff. Everyone at Roy’s Autoworks always strives to be the best. Our technicians and service advisors go to training courses offered by various vehicle manufacturers and vendors to keep up-to- date with today’s changing technology. We also purchase the newest equipment and tools and keep a clean and approachable working environment. At Roy’s, we love to give back to our community by sponsoring as many events and charities as we can.”
