Aug, 28, 2019—On August 19, Advance Auto Parts presented a $10,000 check to the Brakes for Breasts organization.
Founded in 2011, Brakes for Breasts started as a small grassroots campaign and has grown to over 138 participating auto repair shops across 34 states. To date, the organization has raised over $740,000 in support of the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund.
The ceremony was held at co-founder Leigh Anne Best’s shop, Mighty Auto Pro in Medina, Ohio.
“Today was a banner day for Brakes for Breasts thanks to Advance Auto Parts and TechNet Professional. They kicked off the Brakes for Breasts 2019 with a most generous donation of $10,000,” Best said. “Thank you, Advance Auto Parts and TechNet Professional, your generous gift will go a long way towards putting the brakes on breast cancer!”
