BMW Recalls Multiple Vehicles

Recalls range from problems with brakes, steering, and wiring.

September 4, 2019—BMW has recalled numerous makes and models for problems ranging from brakes, steering, and wiring.

Concerning the wiring, this recall states the blower regulator wiring may overheat. The recall models include:

2008-2012 BMW 128I
2008-2012 BMW 135I
2008-2012 BMW 135IS

For brake calipers, they may corrode on these models:

2019 BMW C 400 X
2018-2020 BMW G310 GS
2017-2020 BMW G310R

In these models, the steering gear tie rod may break:

2018-2019 BMW X1
2019 BMW X2
2019 Mini Cooper

Finally, the rear center headrest may fold in a crash for the 2020 BMW M340I.
