September 12, 2019—Microsoft has expanded into the automotive industry and has announced a new program to help driving car manufacturers with self-driving cars, reports Windows Central.
The strategy now highlights core principles that govern Microsoft’s decisions related to vehicles with three key principles. These include:

Data should be owned by the customer, as the company says they do no monetize customers’ data
Supporting automotive companies as they enhance their unique brand experiences to expand their relationships with their customers
