$2 Trillion Stimulus Package Passed

The $2 trillion stimulus package includes increased funding and relief for small businesses and loan forgiveness programs.

March 30, 2020—The U.S. House of Representatives passed the third Coronavirus stimulus package, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, (CARES Act) worth $2 trillion, according to a press release from the Automotive Service Association (ASA).

The legislation includes increased funding and relief for small businesses and loan forgiveness programs.

According to the release, the ASA has been working to ensure that small businesses, motor vehicle repair facilities, and related facilities are not overlooked during the responses to this global health crisis and are declared essential services for the transportation workforce.
